(1) There will be an academic council in the university to act as a body to organize the academic, academic and research work of the university. (2) The composition of the academic council will be as follows:- (a) Vice-Chancellor-Chairman (b) One member from among the deans (c) From among the directors One member (d) One member from the teachers - Member (e) Two members from among the experts in open education technology and curriculum-related subjects
(f) Two members including at least one woman from among the subject experts - Member (g) One nominated by the Vice-Chancellor from among the Deans or Directors - Member - Secretary (3) Clauses (b), (c), (d), (e) and ( f) Nomination of the following members will be done by the Vice-Chancellor on the recommendation of the Vice-Chancellor.
(4) The term of office of the nominated members according to sub-section (2) shall be four years. Another person will be nominated after completing the process as per (3).
(6) The procedure related to the meeting of the Academic Council shall be as prescribed and until such procedure is not prescribed, such procedure shall be as determined by the Academic Council itself.
